Our school can help with enrolment queries throughout the year.
If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a public primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, follow the enrolment instructions given by your primary school. If they are not currently enrolled in a NSW primary school, complete the Expression of Interest form and return to Randwick Girls' High School or email to randwickg-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au.
If your child is currently enrolled in another public or non-government high school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school, contact Randwick Girls' High School on 02 8345 8200.
If your child has a temporary visa or visitor visa you will first need to apply to enrol by contacting the Temporary Residents Program which will give you forms to bring to the school.
It is important that you tell the principal if your child has any special circumstances, allergies, health or medical conditions, before your child starts school.
Most schools have designated local enrolment areas. The School Finder shows our local enrolment area. Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.
Contact us when you’re ready to enrol your child in our school. You may need to attend an interview with the principal. There you can discuss any medical conditions or other special circumstances before your child starts school. We may also complete a risk assessment on the enrolment.
For more information, visit high school enrolment.
Download an application to enrol (PDF 5.9MB).
The application form must be completed in English. However, a translated application to enrol may help you to fill out the form in English.
If your child does not live within our intake area, visit out-of-area enrolment. Out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.
If you have received an offer for an out-of-area placement, visit the online enrolment sign in page to accept or decline the offer.
We will assess applications for non-local enrolment on a case-by-case basis.
Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.
Distance education schools also provide single subjects for students in Years 9 to 12 to enhance curriculum choice. Please contact us for details.
